Copying the physical structure of a Gecko's toe, scientists have been able to construct a pair of paddles that can enable a man of about a hundred (100) kg, scale a wall with about 20kg worth of load attached.
Just Imagine the idea of a military personnel, with ease scaling the walls of the much dreaded Boko-Haram camps in the high hills of Northern Nigeria, with huge bags of ammo attached-with.
Or the thought of having the feature of being able to climb walls like spiderman to take out enemies in your favorite combat games - COD, Max Payne, en all.
Although this technology is a few months or even years away for some countries' military, but the thought that thanks to Science and Technology very soon the jobs of those extremely brave men whose job it is to protect individual lives would be made a bit less arduous should put a huge smile on your face.
